Are police officers different from citizens? In my perspective, yes officers are different from citizens due to the fact that a citizen and office hold different roles. Police officers can carry guns on them while they are off duty. But when is a police officer really off duty. When a police officer is off duty he still has that police mindset, which is to be observe and to help the community. That’s one of the reasons why citizens and police officers differ. As a police officer they have to put them at a higher standard. The role of a citizen isn’t set to protect, surely most will protect family, children, etc but it's not a main focus. As for a cop, it is not only for themselves but for allas it is their duty. A police officer's working personality is to be tough and stern while being level headed at all times .
